Usable Content writer training day:
A UsableContent day, is a days training on various aspects of content management, aimed at producers or professionals who are involved in creating web content, but not necessarily in designing or developing the core website.
If you are using our CMS this is done using your enironment, alternatively we can use your CMS, or a virtual environment.
- The day is made up of 3 parts
- Morning - Usability
- Mid day - accessibility
- Afternoon - writing for the web.
- Bringing it together
It's a practical day, which can be done on site providing there are enough computers, or at a training centre anywhere in the country (and increasingly the world). The costs for a day are £280 per participant, with a minimum of 5 participants per day. Course materials are included (manual and a copy of the slides).
The objective is to give your writers and editors an understanding of their role within your organisation and the confidence to produce content following best practice guidance.
Our belief in training is that it should be comprehensive, pragmatic, fun and thought provoking.
We could of course train for months on any one of the subjects but for most staff this is unnecessary.
